Country Confection

Nothin' reminds me more of Spring and Summer than Mamma cookin' desserts and the whole house engulfed in it's sweet rich smell. Our favorite growing up was pound cake. The tangy smell of lemon and lime, and the sweet smell of icing, vanilla and sugar all baking in the oven is a smell I'll never forget. Mamma's Country Confections reminds us of back in the good ole days when everything was simpler. For some of us it is a tradition we have continued on with our own kids.
